How much will my medicine cost?

You have copays for your medicine at in-network pharmacies. The amount you pay depends on what you’re prescribed. Here’s what you will pay for your medicine at in-network pharmacies:

Generic medicine (Tier 1) $10 copay
Formulary medicine (Tier 2) $20 copay
Non-formulary medicine (Tier 3) $35 copay

Specialty pharmacy

If you’re diagnosed with a chronic or complex condition, like cancer, multiple sclerosis, or rheumatoid arthritis, your doctor may prescribe a “specialty drug.” You or your doctor will have to get prior authorization before you get specialty drugs. Once you have prior authorization, you can only order the drug from our specialty pharmacy. The specialty pharmacy is Optum Specialty Pharmacy.
